I’m so incredibly happy to be alive, and a Braves fan during this man’s career. I have watched many pitchers come to the mound in my life, but I have never watched one like this. He’s really got the stuff. I Was there when he broke the single game strike out record for the Braves and I can’t wait to be around for the many more records this dude is gonna crush!
Strider has-
1) Atlanta Braves single game strikeout record at 16
2) Most consecutive 9 strikeout games in franchise history
3) Fastest player in MLB history to record 200 strikeouts
4) Fastest player to have 100 strikeouts since 1893
And it has barely been 1 season
Smoltz was my favorite pitcher growing up. I feel so dang lucky I get to see Strider on my team too.
What a Stud. Man we’re spoiled.
I’m going to say this again, he’s the best pitcher we have said since Maddux.
