  1. Hmm… move him to WR. He’s got the social media attitude down.

  2. God I wish people would quit whining on social media. It’s not a good look.

  3. Maulet: Asks to be released.

Also Maulet: Why would the Steelers do this to me?

  4. Agree with the man that loyalty to an employer is stupid and will cost you money but holy fuck, can you be more out of touch with real people than saying they’re trying to enslave you for $1.8 million?

  5. I blame his representation if he didn’t understand the NFL was a business. If you feel bad for people who fell victim to unfortunate circumstances, you’re going to feel really bad really fast in this league

  6. “Slave” sure is a bold fucking term to use for someone that has made millions of dollars playing sports

  7. I mean the work is speaking alone … he isn’t in any team yet but he is talking on social media LOL

  8. Always been a fan of maulet but I gotta draw the line here. Very immature behaviour and I’m sure it’s not making anyone feel bad for him, but rather the opposite. Had to hit him with the unfollow when I saw this shit

  9. Bro that is embarrassing that he is comparing ‘only’ making 2 millions dollars a year to being a slave.

He needs a reality check on how good he is, and a fucking slap from his grandparents on what the word slave means.

  10. Damn maulet don’t take this route man it literally never works out for the player when they do this😂 this is like a fast track to get black balled from the league. It’s a business man if you aren’t a solidified number one player at your position on a team you just gotta play your role and take what you can get, your still getting payed millions regardless man

  11. Step 1: Overestimate you financial value

Step 2: Force your way out of a contract and diminish your appeal

    Step 3: ???

    Step 4: Profit

Why would a team want to take him on when they know they will be offering the same pay cut his is so upset about?

He needs to rethink this and go back to work and earn his 1.9 million in slave wages

  12. Maybe I’m reaching here, but this reads to me like he’s talking about fans as much as the organization.

Now, the guys who are good at football tend to be more popular with the fans so that doesn’t help him a ton, but at least that makes it coherent.

  13. This applies to any business, your company doesn’t have loyalty to you and you shouldn’t for them vice versa
