if there’s such thing as context to this, Dray’s podcast “manager” (or whatever, idk how that works. The guy that does everything behind the scenes that Dray doesn’t do) is a Boston fan, and he’s always tryna rub it in his face whenever they lose. So he’s probably going overboard on purpose here
On social media and here I actually find the heat have a lot of insufferable trolls for fans. The ones who aren’t trolls are great, but there’s a lot of threads where it’ll be, like, Wolves vs. Rockets or Suns vs Bucks and there’s some random ass guy with a heat flair completely shitting on a franchise or its fans when KAT or Booker misses one field goal attempt.
It happens so often that I’d say the heat have one of the worst fanbases in the league, purely because the bad heat fans are among the worst fans in the league, which is a damn shame

I lived in Boston for 2 years as an undergrad. Worst place in America. Racist as fuck. More context: I lived in Florida for 4 years for grad school. Boston felt worse.
You sort of expect the racism in the south, it’s overt and clearly demarcated. In Boston, it’s insidious and hiding behind a thin veil of civility. Then something happens and it all comes streaming out, like when their sports games don’t go well.
