20 HR in 54 games = 60 HR in 162 games. Can Pete Alonso get there?

  1. As much as I want to see this man crank a lot of homeruns, they won’t mean nothing if he doesn’t get a ring behind them. Pete is a good, honest talented young athlete, but even he would feel (or say) the same thing.

  2. Imagine Aaron Judge setting the rookie HR record. Then the following year it’s broken.
Imagine Aaron Judge setting the legitimate HR record. Then the following year it’s broken.
Alonso is the “one-upper” guy in the friends group.

  3. Yes. He will beat judge too.

Haters no need to comment. Who would have thought Alonso would get Mets rookie home run record. And if for nothing I’m saying yes because I believe in this team. (Typical New Yorkers bash everything when the going isn’t going quite yet, then big hero supporters when they do turn it around. The I always believed bs kinda guys)

Regardless, Mets have a way better owner now. So to me that was equivalent to Mets winning a World Series. If your a true always been here Mets fan you get that comment. They’ve made the World Series multiple times since 2000. They have talent spend money. Use their youth who actually ball. Great farm system.

    Please everyone stop whining

  4. Furthest thing from being a Mets fan, but man I hope he hits 65. Pete’s got the skills that pay the bills. I hope he stays healthy and mashes. I think it’s good for the game and Lord knows mlb needs that. That and Rob Manfred set on fire.

  5. He likes to beat Judge. It’s always the year after Judge does something so probably
