Just let me pay for the mlb app and get rid of the blackout restrictions
Unfortunately it won’t happen anytime soon, Bally Sports is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy and the teams it hasn’t paid yet are shifting to tilhis model. The Astros are not a client of there’s.
The only reason this happened is because their RSN, Ballys, is about dead and MLB had to do *something* to keep the games on the air. This is not their ideal solution. As long as there are RSNs like the ones owned by ATT and NBC with money to be made, this isn’t going to happen. Unfortunately. It’s a fucking stupid model.
Or MLB.tv should allow us to watch local games. I’d pay top dollar for that.
$20 add on ain’t bad at all.
Man I just want it on YouTube tv. Even if it’s extra I don’t care
I already pay for mlb tv I shouldn’t have to do sketchy shit to watch my favorite team to play due to blackouts.
TBH I wish MLB took over and just started showing ads during telecasts even on MLB.TV better than same ads for their own stuff. Lol
I’d easily pay $75 to watch the astros at home and on the go for a full season.
I’d watch a lot more baseball if MLB didn’t have such absurd streaming policies.
