McD is a scam artist. He’s only had success under Bill Belichick and one season without the GOAT QB.
This terrible football mind’s offense only scored the 12th most points in the league last year (9th most if you exclude Carr’s annual blowup game).
If only we could go back to the days with Rich Bisaccia as head coach, when the offense scored even less points. Raiders offense under Rich scored 21.8 points per game, good for 19th in the league.
Fuck McDaniels for actually improving the most important stat ~~in football~~ for an offense.
More stats, if you compare 2021 and 2022, the Raiders had the **9th-highest improvement in points per game in 2022.**
You can criticize McDaniels for a plethora of things, but his offensive system helped make the Raiders one of the most improved offenses in the league last year.

While Marcus does disagree with how often McDaniels calls dagger, this video was not saying that at all. This video was specifically breaking down the dagger concept and it’s variations only, because it is a staple in McDaniels’ offense. It’s no different than when Marcus breaks down specific things like choice routes in Gruden’s offense.
