  1. It’s going to be tough to beat the Astros when Trout and Ohtani combine for 1-8, 2BB. It’s going to be tougher when the Angels hit 2-12 with runners in scoring position. It’s going to be impossible if umpires makes terrible game-altering calls behind the plate.

  2. I’d like this team to not shit the bed with RISP. Please I’m begging. BEGGING.

I’m not asking for them to get a hit every single time or do well with RISP every game but we’ve seen too many games already where they just become ghosts once they see runners on base.

Can you guys just not drop your balls so often lol

(I won’t even bother with Loup… also any Wayne Randazzo disrespect is not welcome)

  3. angels didn’t look outmatched but certainly got out executed,, unfortunately pretty common first 60 games

  4. Another winnable game slips away…

All the blame and focus will be on the strike 3 call on Ward, but even with that we had so many opportunities to drive in runs. Astros capitalized on way fewer opportunities.

Also can someone tell me what’s happened to Trout? Is there a quantifiable or describable difference in his approach or anything that could point to the lower production? We’re over a third of the way through the season now and I’m scared.

  5. The Ward call was gross but you can’t leave fuckin 13 people on base and expect to win.

  6. Someone move the astros to the central already we can never beat them

Also 2-13 with risp is shameful

Now about that home plate umpire…

  7. One of the most biased displays of officiating I have ever seen, the Ward strike 3 being the worst part

Astros consistently got edges and even below the zone.

    Accountability or Robots please

  8. Ump fucked the Angels hard in the 6th, but let’s not act like the Angels had plenty of opportunity to score some more runs. Hell, Blanco threw a good amount of easy pitches to drive all night that the Angels hitters decided not to swing at.

Really tough loss to watch because it was very winnable for the Halos.

  9. Probably getting swept. They’re allergic to winning in Houston and do at least just enough to lose against them.

  10. LOB aside, the bad called strike changed the entire momentum of the game.

  11. Did not catch much of the game: but I will say. I could spend hours talking about the good and bad(Loup)on the pitching staff. What I’m high or low on for each pitchers, their pitches and command etc. But none of it really matters when this team consistently gets a ton of men on base and then says “nope” to bringing them home
Edit: just saw the Ward call😐😐

Edit: so the last 15-16 games- w RISP:
Jared Walsh .429 AVG. Urshela .273. Thaiss: .333 Moniak: .333

    Trout: .214
    Drury: .200
    Neto: .176
    Ohtani: .154
    Renfroe .100
    Wallach: .000
    Rengifo: .000
    Ward: .000

  12. Kinda feel bad for home plate ump. He knew he fucked up and he looked scared lol

  13. I hope Ohtani won’t hit tomorrow. I don’t know if front office will let him only pitches.

  14. We gotta get rid of loup. I mean this game ain’t on him, but still, mans gotta go

  15. Trout and Shohei had bases loaded and zero. Not gonna win if the stars play like this.

  16. Idgaf how many men were LOB, this is the perfect poster boy for robo umps if I’ve ever seen one. That asinine call exponentially changes the momentum of what could have been a comeback inning, and the rest of the game. Props to Nevin for going out there and having Ward’s back, I’m glad someone finally spoke up.

  17. That call was absolute shit, butttt I hate to say it – that’s part of the game. That’s part of what makes things frustrating/interesting. Sometimes you’re on the losing end of a bad call. I’m totally not in favor of robo umps.

I’m a Detmers apologist. I want him to do well so bad. It’s gotta suck going 0-5 and some are not his fault.

  18. Ya I’m starting to think maybeee robo umps would be good. That was absolutely terrible. Wasn’t even close

  19. Umpire was dickless wonder today but we shot ourselves by not capitalizing the RISP

  20. I am so fucking tired of how mediocre we’ve been since winning a WS. Like wtf. It’s a culture thing. Our roster is not a .500 roster
