  1. Chris Sale is hurting again you say?? Why, nobody could have seen THAT coming

  2. Could’ve been worse I suppose, Sale trying to show he can still go at the end hopefully means Cora wanted to take him out as a precaution

  3. Really hoping it’s nothing. Soreness can literally mean anything for pitchers. Could mean anything from actually just being sore and good to go next start, to a tear that puts someone out multiple months.

  4. Hope it’s just the team being cautious because Sale has been like his old self over the last several starts

  5. Chris was reported in good spirits, with a sudden urge to ride a bike

  6. Cora said they noticed the velocity dip in the 2nd inning and he pitched into the 4th, and stayed in after the first visit with the trainer. Obviously Sales history makes this concerning, but if this was a high alert issue that would be *very* odd behaviour from Cora.

  7. What? *Again*? Man, Chris Sale seems to get injured every season he’s been with the Red Sox. It’s not his fault, but I sure would like to see him make 25 or more starts in a season *sometime* before he get *old.*

I want to put Chris in a protected hamster bubble
