But not 10. I figured it would be a late first. A playoff/contending team who doesn’t want to wait for a rookie to develop and needs someone who can contribute right now. Maybe you can trade up to 10 with Boucher (13+Boucher for 10, for example).
The tricky part with that is salary matching. Those teams likely don’t have 11m in cap space to just absorb Boucher, so we’d have to take something back, and if not just worthless filler than the deal becomes trickier.

You have to take into account you’re going to get 2 more years of Bertans at 16.5m/year so this would be a good trade for Dallas in terms of dumping salary
Otto decided to take the 1 year 6.3mil option rather than test the market again this year, he’s got very little trade value. Boucher is fine, but he’s in the tier of guys that got dealt for like 2-3 2nd rounders at the deadline, not anywhere close to lotto pick value. I get they would be taking on Bertans as well, but his contract isn’t even that bad anymore. He’s paid 17m next year, then only 5m guaranteed in 24-25.
This would be a massive fleece job, basically a free lotto pick.
