BJ Raji stepped away from football 7 years ago for a ‘hiatus’ indicating that he would return.
He would never play another snap in the NFL.
A great move for his health, he probably added years to his life given what we now know about the effect of football on the body and mind.
I’m just curious, there isn’t much online about updates to his life. What is he up to these days? Hopefully he is doing well.

I don’t know where he is but I wish he would finally come back! I’ve been wearing his jersey just waiting for the moment.
If he hasn’t come back now he most likely won’t be. It takes a lot to get back into football shape especially since he’s been gone for many years. It sucks because he was one hell of a player
Every once in a while people write in to the Q+A part of the Packers website and ask about him. Last time I saw they said he had some family stuff take him away from the game and he’s happy where he is.
I heard a rumor out there that he left to take care of a family member that was sick. He most likely looked at his bank account when that situation was all over and decided to just live his best life. I hope that is the case and he’s doing well.
Probably in his kitchen having some pie or cake or something
The man straight up vanished. I know it was for some family reasons, but to never surface once is sort of bizarre considering he was a fairly big name for the Green Bay Packers and won a ring. Hope he’s doing well!

I saw him working at Speedway the other day
He turned down a massive contract in 2013 which in hindsight would of been a disaster for the Pack. He missed the entire 14 season with a torn bicep and then the 15 season showed he wasn’t the same player anymore.
