Promoting from within, I like it. LI Nets did very well in the regular season last year under Burrell – recorded a 15 game win streak, the longest in the history of the Nets G League.
I wonder if this means we might see more of DDJ on the Brooklyn Nets, who I believe is a RFA this off-season. As we all know, DDJ spent significant time with Burrell and the LI Nets last year, and even managed to earn a spot on the All-NBA G League First Team.
