    What a whopping success of a series. Now let’s unload on the Cardinals and hang 60 on them over the next 3 days.

  9. As it turns out, the best way to compensate for a poor bullpen is to simply never play competitive late-innings

  10. Playing the Rangers in a weekend Arlington series is becoming a death sentence.

    12-1 record with three sweeps in those four series so far (Lone Cole Yankee shutout as the L)

  13. Jonah Heim must have gone to the same barber as Roope Hintz because he’s just as good, if not better, with the short hair.

  18. This series was a beat down. Good lord. Even as a fan of the winning team, that was demoralizing. Ah, who am I kidding, that was fucking awesome.

  20. Most fun game I’ve been to in a while. Got to see Eovaldi, the offense on full display, and Jankowski doing his thing.

  21. Back up to 3.5 games ahead of the (fuck the) Astros.

    They’ve got the Jays up next, and we’ve got the cards. Probably our best opportunity to get another game or two ahead in the standings until our head to heads.

    First it was “wait till May” then “wait till June” now it’s “wait till the All Star break.

    If we win against the Rays the series after the Cards, I don’t think they’ll be telling us to wait for them anymore.

  22. After all the trash talk Mariner fans did this offseason about how it wouldn’t matter what moves we’d make, we’d still be a 4th place team. Taking 5 of the first 6 from them and this convincing sweep feels extra nice.

  25. I am getting a lot of enjoyment reading Astros PGTs everyday where tons of them keep saying the “Rags are due for regression”

    Wonder if they keep saying that up to the end of the season lol.
