  1. Good game by France, Díaz and Bregman. Everyone else thought it was an off day I guess.

  2. Maldy not even getting a sac fly was painful.

    Yainer needs more ABs

Even his last out was absolutely smoked. Enough with the Julks at DH outings. To the people saying “trying to up his trade value” he’s a 27 year old rookie that is dead last in the league in quality of contact and a below average fielder.

Trying to up his value is not worth it over not giving bats to our top hitting prospect currently in Yainer. Yainer’s bat was his carrying card in the minors ffs

  3. just one of those games. we won 3/4 of the series. just gotta move on. lets go bielak give us the same game JP had today

  4. We saw on the scoreboard that the Mariners were getting their asses kicked, so our offense started to Robel.

  5. GG to the Angels for salvaging a win. Totally winnable game for us, but you can’t win’em all.

    On to Canada.

The boys just gotta keep the grind, and before you know it, we’ll be back in first where we belong.

  6. Seattle had 1 above average season after 20 years of missing the playoffs and thought they were “back”

  7. Since we lost, that means the Mariners have to make the comeback, right?

    Right?

  8. This win feels bad because France pitched a fantastic game.

Critique for not PHing for Maldy with 1 out and Diaz on third (why is Salazar on the roster if we won’t PH for Maldy?) but I don’t blame Dusty really.

The offense outside of Diaz and Breggy was dead all game.

Altuve in the lineup really makes the entire team better. Let’s hope he feels better tomorrow so we can score runs against Toronto.

  9. On top of that frustrating game, my Internet cut out for the last inning, so I lost the stream.

    Guess I didn’t miss much.

  10. We won the series, but we’re losing ground because apparently the Rangers offense is super Saiyan right now. It’s so fucking annoying that we’re not gaining any ground on them whenever we’re winning.

On the bright side, France looked great outside of one bad pitch.

  11. Pitching was great. And it was nice to have a first baseman that can hit.

  12. I keep missing the France games just by chance, but it seems like we have been losing on those days. Is it him or bad luck? Just curious

  13. The Rangers really show no signs of slowing down. Doesn’t help that they play the Cards next while we face the Blue Jays.

  14. I’m not gonna lie I’m pretty much preparing for us in a wild card series rangers are too good

  15. How is it that we are not winning every game?!!! we’re supposed to win every game!!!!

  16. I’m not a negative downer but this is such a bad loss. Astros win 4 games in a row and don’t gain a single game on the Rangers meanwhile we have to play Toronto and they play awful St. Louis we will be lucky to not be down 6 games!

  17. I know people are mad about game

But same time I feel we shouldn’t really focus on rangers putting up multiple runs and just focus on our team. Yeah we lost ground 3 games, yes it seems rangers are on a rampage but same time that quesitons how long do you keep going before you go against a team that will shut you down offensively and defensively

Which is why I’m not really stressing. For all I know the rangers could be the 2021 giants or prove us wrong

Ik it’s not early anymore but the Astros still have a season

  18. Okay, so I took a look at the schedules for this month, and after Toronto we should have an easy stretch right up until the Dodgers/Rangers series at the beginning of July.

The Rangers however, play the Rays, Yankees, and Jays before they play us at the end of this month, so hopefully we can gain some ground then.

Can’t win them all, and as long as we win series is all I care about. But it really is frustrating that the Rangers aren’t losing when we need them to lol.

  19. Welp, can’t win em all but it’s too bad our entire bullpen basically is slumping except for Neris.

  20. Seems like the Astros social manager got let go or told to change the way they post. Every twitter post is so bland.

  21. Just a reminder. It’s a long season. On this date last year the Yankees had a 3 game lead over the Astros and a 37-15 record. That was with 52 games played. We have played 59 games. After 59 games last year the Yankees were 43-16 (better than the team in Arlington is currently) and they had a 7 game lead over the Astros. Yes 7 games! Double the lead the Arlington rangers have now after the same amount of games. Yet their fans all wanna come here and cry bc we don’t take them seriously but it’s bc we have seen this show before. The only constant in this show has been the Astros winning the division and being in the ALCS at a minimum. Why should we expect that to change? The odds makers don’t see it changing yet either. Yet the fans in Arlington sure do have their panties in a bunch bc we aren’t worried. They should maybe seek help to get past their little brother syndrome instead of coming here seeking validation. 🤷‍♂️
