How does the 2023 NHL Draft compare with the 2022 NHL Draft?

we need to just come away with one of Michkov, Carlsson, or Smith, doesn’t matter who
With the direction we’re taking (after Cole’s extension), I REALLY think that Carlsson fits Kent Hughes’ vision of the team the most.
Sure, we won’t have a legitimate elite-talent forward, but that would also allow us to have a sustainable depth quality (literally 15M+ budget for the whole 3rd line).
It’s really a choice between building a team with better team depth (Carlsson) or relying on a high-end talent (Michkov) at this point. However, I don’t think either will be available at 5th, so we’ll probably end up with the middle ground (Smith) lol.
