  1. I think the only way we trade him is if we get the number three pick, Sharpe, and Simmons. I doubt Portland would ever consider that offer, and at the same time I feel like that would be an offer we really couldn’t refuse. So basically he will still be a Net next season.

  2. As far as I’m understanding it, they’re referring to the first time this was discussed in the off-season, back in mid-May. Not saying that anything changed, nor do I believe that a trade is coming, but it’s still the same information that’s being passed around.

  3. If scoot is available at 3 I think we really have to consider Simon’s and 3 for bridges. I don’t even think we’d be that much worse year 1. Simon’s is a blossoming scorer and scoot would bring us a point guard we desperately need. If we retain dfs we’re not even short on wings.

  4. The problem with keeping Mikal is that we have to make moves to become competitive with him. I think the nets would be dumb to not get a completely fresh start of scoot and simons for a true rebuild. I’m also totally fine with keeping mikal, I just think we shouldn’t waste him by not acquiring more talent
