How will the AFC North look this year?

Let me know what you guys think. Bengals are the favorites as they should be.

  1. If I had to bet I’d say we win the division then Baltimore>the Clowns>Squealers. I think even the Clowns and Squealers will win around 9 games though. It’s not unreasonable with a little bit of luck any team could win the division even though I think it’d take a ton of bad luck from us and a lot of phenomenal breaks for Cleveland or Pittsburgh. We weren’t supposed to win more than 5-7 games in 2021 and things lined up just right for us. It can happen to a lot of teams in any season.

  2. Everything is set up for the Bengals to be in the best team in the NFL conversation with Philly, SF and KC.

Considering Burrow’s preseasons have been Covid, knee reconstruction rehab and burst appendix surgery, this could be the year that they get their first real training camp and preseason. Last year week 1 was very ugly and still only lost because of a blocked extra point.

If the run game improves, this year will be potentially the best we’ve ever had.

  3. All 4 teams will be better than they were last year. Going to be a brutal division.

  4. Bengals 12-5 (4-2)
    Ravens 11-6 (4-2)
    Steelers 9-8 (2-4)
    Browns 8-9 (2-4)
Bengals sweep pittsburgh. Split with Ravens and Browns.

  5. Bengals will sweep the North 6-0. Palmer did it once, so Burrow definitely can

  6. Ravens will be good, as usual if Lamar is healthy. Basement is 9 wins with healthy Lamar, ceiling is 12 wins. I’m saying 11-6 and playoffs.

Steelers need OL to be better and should be and QB play to be better. Their basement is 8 wins, ceiling 11, more than likely 10 wins. I’m saying 9-8.

Browns are a big question mark. Very good roster but need Watson to return to form, similar to Steelers. I’m saying 10-7.

Bengals basement is 10 wins, ceiling is 15. I’m guessing 14-3.

No bad teams and potentially all teams have double digit wins.

  7. Tough – Luckily we’ve got the AFC South and a down NFC West.

Browns got Denver, the NYJ, and Chicago

Steelers got Vegas, New England, and Green Bay

Ravens got LAC, Miami, and Detroit

We’ve got KC, Buffalo, and Minnesota.

    We’ve got this!

  8. Utterly dominated by the Bengals. I don’t care what anyone says, there’s not enough shitty AFC teams for Cleveland or Shittsville to be good. Us and The Rats, with them getting the wildcard.

  9. Bengals, Ravens and Steelers win double-digit games. Browns win 9. Toughest division in NFL. Maybe NFC East is tougher.

  10. 3 of our 4 losses last season were to AFCN teams.

Given that, let’s just hope we come out the gate hot and start 2-0. Otherwise, we could be in another dog fight for the title.

    I hate this division.

  11. Just going out on a limb here. The Browns are somehow going to end up in the cellar of the division again.

  12. Pittsburgh will be better than anyone admits (they outplayed us 3 of 4 halves plus OT last year yet everyone here feels like they can dunk on Pickett for some reason) and be right there for the division with us and the Ravens. Honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see us fall to a wild card team behind either of them. Draft didn’t deliver like it needed to for us to get over the hump and we really only had 1 impact free agent signing who will probably flop because Cincy is where o-line come to die for some reason. We are basically the same team as last year with the only difference being marginally better depth.

Not sure what to say about Cleveland.
