  1. Just gets worse every day. I have no faith in this team making playoffs and I somehow have even less faith in the coaching staff and GM turning it around. Time for massive changes starting at the top down. Completely unacceptable

  5. I think most of us know the season is over, but it’ll be fascinating to see how they handle trades in the next six weeks. Obviously they won’t be adding any players, but will they retool? Will they take offers on Goldy if they fall below 10 games out of the race? It’s worth watching.

    Now, after August starts, I don’t know what allure the team has. I’ll watch every game, of course, but will the average fan?

  6. Well, I feel pretty confident we’re not turning it around in a major way this season. Time to kick back and have fun with what we have left

  13. I’m starting to think that the Front Office that allowed Taylor Motter to be on this team for a month and Tres Barrera for a couple of weeks… doesn’t really care about winning. Wow who would have thunk

  15. This team and coaching staff is so beyond checked out man. Top to bottom. None of them look like they have drive. Same energy I take to my 9 to 5. Show up, put in the work, go home. Go play golf or something fun I’d rather do.

  17. I still have high hopes. We lost the defensive leader (Yadi) and the offense isn’t bad. Just need to stop the other team from scoring and we can turn this around

The worst thing about this situation, at least to me, is that I don’t think the front office will be sellers even if, as appears to be extremely probable, the team is effectively out of playoff contention as the trade deadline approaches. It’s not like I want to part with talented veterans, but this team desperately needs to upgrade its roster for next season and beyond.

    i would personally give them the ability to use ascend, because then they could easily get from their seats in the dugout to the top of the dugout with ease whenever they wanted and could just moonwalk on top of the dugout lol

    either that or give them fuse so that they could fuse jim hayes’ microphone with one of the dippin dots stands so that from now on jim hayes only talks about dippin dots whenever they cut to him on the camera

  24. These losses are on me. I’m pretty sure I’m cursed at this point. I’m 0 for 6 watching the Cards In person and 1 for 4 watching the blues. Hopefully tomorrow can break my streak.

  39. What do you even do at this point? Like they have to fire the manager, right? If that doesn’t work, then we can make trades and see if that works. We’re just doing the same shit over and over with no changes other than adding a AAA player every now and then
