RIP Ja’tyre Carter szn
May – June
I thinks it weird he wasn’t at the other OTAs. I get he’s a vet but he’s a free agent signing on a new team. You would think he would want to make a good impression? If he balls out out no big deal, if he sucks and is injured I think this will look even more sketchy.
The offensive line really does not scare me nearly as much this year. I assume Braxton Jones will take a step forward this year and be less of a liability in pass protection. He was a stud in run blocking, I am really hoping for something like average in pass protection with a year of experience under his belt now. Jenkins and Davis seem like legit quality starters. Darnell Wright seems like a total beast, though I am guessing he will have some rookie lessons to learn. I am ok with Borom, Carter and Patrick as depth. I don’t know what to expect from Whitehair, but lets hope he isn’t on his last legs. The Bears are definitely going to look a lot different this year, especially if we can find one more legit edge for the defense.
