[Throwback] 2009 NBA FINALS GAME 1 LOS ANGELES LAKERS VS ORLANDO MAGIC

Really interesting watching this game back. The Orlando Magic were actually such a legit team that year. Lots of size and depth with shooting on the roster. The Lakers dominance in this game is really great to watch. It’s a reminder how lucky we were to witness this title run. This is certainly my favorite era of Modern Lakers basketball.
Pau is a bit underrated.
He didn’t guard Dwight close the whole games because that could eventually put him in foul trouble, but I remember some clutch defensive plays from him down the stretch that were crucial.
That was somewhat a easy win. It is a shame Ariza agent forced his hand because while Meta is a great guy, we missed Ariza young legs when he left. The pace of the game was never the same
Could’ve had Kobe vs LeBron
I thought at the time that Matt Barnes was soooooo fucking annoying.
