Forget trading for Lillard. The way to leverage the Blazers’ current situation is to get a hold of the #3 pick and young role players.

  1. Oh yea exactly what we need for a group of sub 30 year old players… someone sub 20. That’s one of the dumbest takes I’ve heard in a fucking world of awful takes.

Are you Danny ainge? Picking a fucking role player in Olynyk (I refuse to hate on Kelly) instead of the project in Giannis when you had an old ass veteran laden team?

Dumb fucking take. Obviously the 3rd overall pick has been good to the Celtics…but unless it costs just Marcus or just brogdon (plus galinari) we aren’t getting a better piece.

  2. I’ve been following Scoot a lot, and I’m going to be brutally honest. While, I think he’s a star talent, I think he’s getting very overrated here. A lot of people proclaim he would go #1 in past NBA drafts, but I would disagree. If the Celtics think they can’t put the right team around the Jays to win a ring, then sure so be it – the proposed Simons, Sharpe, and 3rd draft pick is asinine and Blazers would never do it.
