The LA Chargers had the most receivers with over 500 yards last season

#Number of WR/TE/RB Over 500 Receiving Yards

It felt like my team the [Chargers](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EtlvzQ_WYAEz6Wt.jpg), had a new receiver leading the pack every other week due to injuries, so I decided to take a look and see just how many we had that ended the year with over 500 yards receiving.

(500 yards was the base line simply because I had seen it used as the starting point multiple times in the past)

After getting my answer I wanted to see how it compared with the rest of the league.

Below is what I found:

AFC East | X
————-|-
Buffalo Bills | 3
New England Patriots | 3
New York Jets | 3
Miami Dolphins | 2
|
|
|
**AFC North** | X
Cincinnati Bengals | 3
Pittsburgh Steelers | 3
Cleveland Predators | 2
Baltimore Ravens | 1

**AFC South** | X
Jacksonville Jaguars | 4
Houston Texans | 2
Indianapolis Colts | 3
Tennessee Titans | 1

**AFC West** | X
Los Angeles Chargers | **6**
Kansas City Chiefs | 4
Las Vegas [Raiders](https://doc.nv.gov/Inmates/Home/) | 2
Denver Broncos | 2

**NFC East** | X
Philadelphia Eagles | 3
Dallas Cowboys | 3
Washington Commies | 3
New York Giants | 2
|

**NFC North** | X
Minnesota Vikings | 4
Detroit Lions | 3
Green Bay Packers | 2
Chicago Bears | 1

**NFC South** | X
Tampa Bay Buccaneers | 3
New Orleans Saints | 2
Atlanta Falcons | 2
Carolina Panthers | 1
|
|
|
**NFC West** | X
San Francisco 49ers | 3

##The Tally:
– 6 receivers over 500 yards: **1 team**
– 5 receivers over 500 yards: 0 teams
– 4 receivers over 500 yards: 3 teams
– 3 receivers over 500 yards: 12 teams
– 2 receivers over 500 yards: 12 teams
– 1 receivers over 500 yards: 4 teams

If someone can format this into a tweet so this info can be shared on Reddit, I would greatly appreciate it.

##Happy offseason!

  1. A fun little reminder of just how much we had to rely on our depth WRs last season!

Most other teams: 2-3 receivers over 500 yards.
    The Chargers: **6**!

  2. Pretty interesting to see. While it does tell the tale of injuries, it also shows that the guys filling in were at least serviceable. Our team easily could have fallen into the 1 or 2 receiver category given all the injuries but they were able to perform when called on.

  3. Well yeah when you’re starting the practice squad and fast kids from the parking lot by week 7 the wealth gets spread a little

  4. Even without all the injuries we would still have 5. Williams, Allen, Everett, Ekeler and Palmer.

  5. This is definitely partially a injury stat but they had 4 last year, which would have been tied for first this season, and nearly a 5th (Guyton had 448 yards)
