After going down by 16 points early in the 1st quarter, they came back and took their first lead of the game with the Kawhi pull-up 3.
This was the possession right after. Diaw was always like an elegant ballerina on the floor, was always so calm, and let the game come to him. But this time, it was a little different. The uncharacteristically aggressive locked-in Boris Diaw showed crazy hands on defense. It had me hyped at that time. I guess he really, really wanted to win.
This is one of my favorite moments from 2014 Finals.
He knew what it took to get to the top of the mountain. That effort was insane
Diaw is the unofficial FMVP of that team. Kawhi deserved it, but the argument can be made for Diaw as well.
Bro the defense in those years were so insane. The big rotation of Duncan Boris and Splitter was locking down anything inside. Then you had Manu Danny Green and Kawhi locking down the perimeter.
