  2. guys like Bassitt are why I’ll never accept the “well he played in the majors, you didn’t” argument as valid. The dude knows more about pitching technicalities but that’s about it. “I’ll fight analytics til I die” is one of the dumbest things I’ve heard from a professional athlete. He makes an exception for the analytics simple enough for his smooth brain to understand, though.
