  1. I remember when the ’22 season started post-Bobby and Russ, DK was saying he felt it was his turn to de facto lead the team. Or at least that’s what the press was saying, but DK was definitely accepting of the role in those preseason press conferences. Looks like it’s Geno’s team now.

  2. > His six touchdown receptions were half his total from 2021 with Wilson

4 of those 12 were from geno but w/e

I wonder who will be voted offensive captain this year. Was Lockett last year

  3. You love to see it. I love DK’s motor and emotion. Sometimes it’s the right pick me up for the team. He just has to learn when the be the bigger man, and stay smart. Richard Sherman mastered this perfectly almost to manipulate his opponents into raging.

  4. I like DK, but dude has got a mouth and poor impulse control. He’d be way more effective if he just stfu, played the game and torched people like we know he can.

  5. I watched the interview, and “overstepped boundaries” is the worst take from what he said. DK said knew there was a leadership gap last year with some of the vets moving on, and he wanted to step up and be that guy because the team needed leadership. I think that’s amazing, dude trying to walk the walk. He then talked about how that role just wasn’t him, and what he excelled at, and thinks he would be better being someone who led by example instead of by words.

I think it’s a high character move, to basically realize that vocal leadership isn’t what he does well (at least right now, I bet he’ll do better once he gets a little bit older), and stepping back and letting others step in is the best thing for the team.
