  1. JK just needs to keep working with his head down and the rest will sort itself out. I know he’ll have a monster season next year πŸ’ͺ🏾

  2. Kuminga wants to be a Warrior and I hope he stays one. Just need Kerr to trust him…

  3. Always had talent now he develops his skill. Only problem now is his mind. Always gotta stay ready and not pout when not playing. See how moody did in the playoffs.

  4. All this stuff is great, but kuminga needs to come into 2024 and impact the game beyond scoring.

  5. I’m very skeptical of athletes who always post themselves working out. Seems like they’ve lost sight of the bigger picture

  6. Kuminga gonna come in next season and prove the doubters wrong. Work on your handle, improve your jump shot and go full intensity at all times. The sky is the limit.

  7. What a surprise! Somebody who’s gone from 24.6% to 33.6% to 37% from 3 by age 20 has shooting talent and is continuing to get better. How shocking!

  8. Looks smoother already. Excited to see it on the court next season. Breakout coming πŸ”₯

  9. I hope he’s been watching what Aaron Gordon’s been doing this year and playoffs. If he wants minutes, that’s who he should be modelling his game after… hardnose defense, rebounding, and moving without the ball while ready to catch and finish. Gordon has been catching and finishing alley-oops and dunks under the hoop like crazy this year and Kuminga should be doing the same, but he needs to learn how to put himself in those open positions when the defense goes to double team.

If he can score without having plays run for him, play good defense and rebound, he’ll get the minutes he’s been wanting.

  10. His jump-shot legit got 20% better. Let’s see him continue to work on it and bring it into games.

    You know how this goes…

20% better in practice means 2% better in games when you got defenders on your ass.

  11. On offense, it seems to me his biggest weakness is his face-up ball handling in traffic. Given a reasonably clear lane to the hoop, he’s fine. His spot-up three is good enough that defenders can’t ignore him out there, and he has some decent low-post moves back to basket. But he tends to get stymied on dribble penetration, and he isn’t good driving and kicking the ball out, so he tend to get “stuck” too much and he resorts to poor shots or to uninspired outlet passes. Mid-range jumper will certainly help, of course, that’s an important part of Wiggs’ repertoire.

  12. I know this dude is gonna be an all star level player soon. I can just feel it

  13. they dont show the misses, its better to see all of the makes and misses

  14. This is more like it. Of all the young players on our roster Kuminga should be the absolute last resort when it comes to trades this summer

  15. You can’t drill on hussle and iq, he needs to improve them two parts of his play no matter how much game he has

For example moody plays with the hussle and iq of 2nd rd g league guys like gp2 divenchenzo

  16. See I got downvoted when he said he was disappearing yesterday and I said but he keeps putting workout videos on IG

  17. he is a fluid athlete who can throw himself into people with his shoulders or get skinny like a running back, just a matter of working to better sync up his dribble with his movements when he attacks.

Jerami Grant, who has a similar build, got pretty good at this.

  18. The handle looks better, and the jump shot looks smoother + quicker.

Cared less about the jump shot and more about the handles. Glad to see he’s working hard on it. He has the capability to drive and finish through contact/over defenders anytime he wants, the only issue was getting stripped on the way there.

Jump shot progress is just a nice plus imo, in this area I’m more so hoping his free throw becomes consistent rather than off the dribble shots.

Imagine a JK that defends + rebounds and can take it to the hole without getting stripped. Then because of his leaping ability, height, and strength, he’ll force defenders to foul more often than not and then he shoots 85-90% from the line while being respectable from 3. That’s an instant 20-25 mpg playoff piece. I hope he gets to this by the next post-season.

Afterwards if he keeps developing physically and becomes a 3pt threat + has a reliable go-to move for late clock situations I think he’d be an all star.

  19. It makes me wonder why doesn’t he just workout with curry or klay, the 2 best shooters in the world.

  20. How can a player practice rebounding? It seems like you’d need to have like four other people of similar size around the basket besides the player in training, and someone else legit trying and failing to make jump shots. What sort of instruction could a trainer give the player to help them anticipate where the ball is going to bounce?

I wonder what sort of improvement Kerr is looking for from Kuminga in terms of rebounds per minute, or if it is more about passing the eye test for hustle and affecting plays.

  21. I want to see rebounding and defending as well. Tired of seeing the offense hype. We need him to be the PF
