I mean when we look behind him it’s not like there are a ton of hitters who should move up. Short probably deserves an opportunity at the top of the lineup but I think he hits lower so they don’t fee as pressured to pinch hit for him at the end of games maybe? Idk you can only do so much with the hitters on the roster rn and at least Baez used to be a good hitter which is more than a lot of our roster can say.
What is there to lose? This team is nothing without Riley
