    Not that it’d necessarily go well at all, I just think it’d be infinitely more exciting than the current predicament

  5. I heard Globe is reporting that Verdugo got benched by Cora tonight because he didn’t run hard at 1st base on Yoshida’s grounder in 7th inning last night. I guess he was taken out of the game last night after that incident.

  10. I wonder why Whitlock can’t go tonight. He and Kutter both pitched the double-header June 3, I think, and Kutter went again last night on 4 days rest. Today would give Whit 5 days.
