2019 has to be one of the worst drafts of all time 💀

2. Wild that only one of these guys is on the team still. Even more wild that it’s Will Harris.

   I really thought Amani was going to have a great season last year. I wonder wtf happened to him.

3. Hockenson is a pro bowler. Tavai is still playing in NE. Harris, Bryant, and Oruwariye are still in the league as of now.

   It’s real bad, but it can get a lot worse.

4. 2011 – Fairley, Young, Leshoure, Hogue, Culbreath.

   Most of Millen’s drafts were that bad or worse. We went from ’97 to ’00 without picking a guy that ever made the Pro Bowl. ’97 might be the worst. 10 picks – Westbrook at 5 was a bust, and none of the other 9 ever played a season as a starter.

5. I can honestly say the Detroit fans would have crowd voted a better draft to this without hindsight. I remember vividly a good majority of fans wanted Brian Burns or ed oliver, no way we pick Hock. And in the 2nd round 100% fans would have taken DK Metcalf.

6. 2018 honestly made me so hopeful for 2019.

   Year 1 of frank, kerryon, tracy, hand, crosby and bowden looked so good.

   2019 I was like ” well I don’t really get the selections, but 2018 was so good I trust the process”

   Man did that age badly.

7. It could be worse lol. The first rounder was a hit, Oruwariye wasn’t great but he was semi-functional as a starter from a late round pick, Tavai is still in the NFL.

8. I wish the lions had a good LB. I hope Campbell turns out to be even better than what we expect. Watching our LBs makes me want to pull my hair out.

10. No way. Hock is a top 5-10 TE, Harris is still serviceable, and Tavai was better with better coaching. Not a good draft, mediocre for sure, but not something memorably terrible

13. Hockenson has always been overrated imo. I don’t see anything special about him. Not a great blocker and not a dynamic YAC threat
