Votes Today Are Unlikely via Tabitha Mueller on Twitter

This means one thing: they don’t have the votes to pass it (yet…)

The Oakland A’s live another day (we hope)!

  1. I thought this was supposed to be faster than Oakland and California but they’re still stuck on the community benefits. John fisher won’t give you shit and he’s here for YOUR money

  2. This embarrassing for Nevada taxpayers/voters. They don’t deserve to keep throwing their money away towards this grift.

Edit: And Lombardo STILL hasn’t signed the budget bill they voted for on Tuesday.

  3. The longer this goes on, the more pissed everyone in the legislature will get. This could be key.

  4. Casey Pratt says John Fisher was in Alameda yesterday taking a look at the Raiders old training facility. Could he be giving up on Vegas already?

  5. From what I gathered last night, there were a handful of reps that were willing to approve with amendments. This may end up passing or failing by 1 vote in the senate.

  6. 1. I’m happy because it’s taking longer than Fisher and Kaval would like. Plus if they had the yes votes they would’ve voted already.

    2. That said, I’m worried it’s giving Fisher and Kaval to brainstorm new amendments to try and win over more votes.

  7. It’d be interesting to see if this went through and casino’s provided betting odds on this being a bad deal for Vegas in 10 years.
