How much are you willing to give up (in assets) to help Dame?

I dont need to reapeat everything that has been said by players/media in the past week about wether we should trade Dame or build around him. My question is would you go all in? That means everyone is on the table, and if so what return do you want.

Heres an example of going all in, wether or not all the teams included would do it, the answer is usually always No.

  1. This wouldn’t happen even if Bridges and Bam demanded a trade to Portland.

  2. I have a terrible feeling that we are going to trade the third pick and Ant for Brown and regret not taking the chance to build around a dynamic scoring young core. I love Dame, but I don’t think there is a championship road for him in Portland. A serious organization would not let sentimentality trump a chance for a chip, but I don’t think Portland is particularly serious with Jody at the helm.

  3. If it’s me, I’d go all in. Even Sharpe for the right (insanely high) price.

  4. I think this is really illustrative of the problem we face. All three of these teams would laugh and hang up the phone on this trade. And it STILL doesn’t make us a contender.

We’d be starting Thybulle. Watford would be sixth man. Mays or Keon Johnson would be our first guard off the bench. We’d be right at the cap so it’s unclear if Jody would even be willing to use the MLE. Also Chauncey would still be our coach.

In our dizziest daydreams where we fleece every team, we’re still not a title contender. It’s time to rebuild. It hurts emotionally to part with Lillard, but it’s clear as day that keeping the pick is the best thing for the franchise, even if Lillard asks out because of it.

  5. You’re example is bad, really bad.

But for your question you give up based on what you get. I’m holding sharpe as long as I can but if a giannis or someone like that is on the table then do whatever it takes
