That’s pretty cool. I work in tech (user experience design), and Shazam is one of the few apps that just amazes me. It feels like magic how quickly it detects sometimes obscure stuff. It first has to record the audio and then match it to a “fingerprint” of all the songs it has in its database. Like how does it only need a few seconds to listen to the right segment of a track and find its match among 15 BILLION songs?? Just blows my mind…
