    Also Lacob is a fucking maniac lol. He can be way too much at times, but it’s great to have an owner who is so over the top addicted to winning

  9. Steiny is unlistenable, dude makes a living hating on the Warriors. Was the same last season when he was saying the the Mavs were gonna give the Warriors a run for their money. He just projects his bs onto everything else.

  12. I think the Steph, Klay and Dray version of the dynasty is over. I think if the front office is willing to part with Dray and Klay they can probably build around Steph for one or two more title runs. But I don’t think they want to do that. And I don’t think most Warriors fans would like it.

  13. As much as I hate admitting it, one of the most powerful motivational factors for me is someone telling me that I can’t do it. Mountains have been moved just to be able to say “You were wrong.”

I don’t know that I buy Steiny having Lacob’s direct cell number (maybe several years back when he was closer to a legit reporter/journalist but – and this is assuming Lacob’s had to change numbers a time or two between now and then like high profile people frequently have to do – presently given he’s nothing but the equivalent of a professional shit stirrer, I doubt it) but

    B. for the sake of argument, let’s say he does have it, what was he congratulating Lacob on? Lol what’d I miss? and lastly,

    C. the obnoxious level of hubris Steiny has to send Lacob that text thinking Lacob could give two shits about what he thinks is wild lol

    Edit to add:

    and D. If getting sent home in the 2nd round wasn’t enough to make the big 3 come back as defiant as ever a la Steph’s “you don’t want to see us next year,” then I think Bob’s departure damn near guaranteed they will. They’re going to be hungry to prove that no one but *them* will determine when their dynasty is done.

    Related to that, I’m putting my money on Bob’s departure doing the exact opposite of what most are probably assuming will happen re: Dray and his behavior. I think we’re going to see Dray show the most growth from a personal and leadership standpoint we’ve ever seen from him and a determination to prove that he’s not going to fall apart and be unmanageable without the Draymond whisperer in the building. Some people need to have their proverbial safety net taken away (and Bob has been that for Dray in more ways than one) to become and *stay* their best selves and something tells me that’s the evolution we’re going to see with Dray this upcoming season.
