Outside of Mondre who did give their best effort last year? It was poor all round.
Kinda makes a lot of sense – yeah, patricia was a dipshit and chewed him out but Bourne seems to be acknowledging that he could have bought in more despite the poor coaching and scheme he was given.
Wipe the slate clean, its a new era, hope Bill can move on fullly and give Bourne a full chance to produce for the team – and im sure he will as he seems to have given a lot of autonomy to BoB

At the end of the day he’s a person too, and when you’re dissatisfied with how leadership is performing their roles it’s hard to be passionate about what you yourself are doing, even if it’s something you love
I would argue that Matty P didn’t allow Bourne to give his best effort last year.
