1. Yeah they are the same guy that’s why our offensive average points per game went up by 10 when Purdy took over 🙄

2. They are not the same… Brock doesn’t throw hospital balls and when he throws I don’t involuntarily clench because I’m expecting a “why the hell did he throw that” reaction

3. Brock running out of the pocket alone is better than stuck in the mud Jimmy.

4. Purdy is a rookie, Jimmy G was in his 9th season. Purdy has a lot more chances to improve at this point and he’s still cheap. Hopefully the injury was freak for Purdy but the issues for Jimmy were much more around constantly getting hurt. Jimmy’s pocket presence sucked and since he tore his acl, he’s been immobile.

5. Statistically he is the same. It’s the intangibles that gives him more upside.
   Only time will tell if he’s the long term answer for this team.
