  1. Sandoval left offspeed down the middle and looked terrible. Again. Offense looked asleep. Trout and Renfroe continue to look terrible since the start of May and went a combined 0-7 with 4 strikeouts and Renfroe walked. Ohtani seems fine offensive though still very aggressive/chasing a lot. Rendon hitting the ball hard even though it hasn’t resulted in hits so far, is still nice to see. Neto having a nice game is nice to see. Winning streak is overrr

Edit: also somehow aaron Loup didn’t allow runs

  2. Julio was real chippy from right field pavillon tonight. Hope he enjoys the next 10 years of misery in Seattle. Go Angels

  3. Winning streak had to end eventually. Was hoping it wouldn’t be against these fucking Mariners but oh well. Can’t win them all. Gotta win tomorrow though to regain some momentum going into Arlington next week.

  4. Gonna need the middle of the order to pick it up and for the starters to really pick it up. Otherwise it will be a rough week in Texas. And will make winning in KC that much more difficult.

  5. On the bright side, at this rate, Sho is on track to take over the MLB lead for home runs.

  6. We got cuzzi’d but still didn’t look great tonight. Sandy wasn’t giving up hard contact but leaving so much up in the zone – a good offense would have torched him tonight. Trout looked brutal tonight but sense he is real close to busting back. Just one of those games. Let’s win the series tomorrow!

  7. Our record by announcing crew:

    Wayne & Gubie: 29-21

    Patrick & Gubie: 4-6

    Matty V & Gubie: 1-2

    Peacock (with Gubie): 0-1

    Apple TV+ (with Wayne): 1-1

  8. Still don’t understand how the challenge in the ninth was “call confirmed” when the ball clearly bounced inside his glove

  9. First, starting pitchers need to be decent enough for our offense to pick them up or actually have chance to win. Second, the middle lineup needs to start hitting. We couldn’t win many games if they had zero hit going into 7th inning. Lastly, plz win tomorrow, we have a really tough trip in Texas

  10. Transcription of what Ohtani said immediately after that Cuzzi call:
    “No! No! FUCK NO!”

    🙂

  11. Tim Salmon: “That’s all from the Big A. We need to wrap things up, just got word that the janitor needs his closet back.”

  12. Was at the game and it was tough, Sandy was giving up wayyyyyy too many hits, but the offense in general wasn’t all that great. Shoot, the whole team just felt off. Get em some more grasshopper tacos, stat!
