I think that arbitration screwed with his head. He doesn’t look like he is making the effort this year.

He’s played so lacksadaisical this season and expects $200M I’ll gladly let him walk and give Melton, Gilbert, and all the other talented OF prospects in our system a shot
At the plate he probably is not as comfortable with the stupid clock. He has a routine he has probably had for a decade and now he had to change it. But hey games are shorter so maybe we can get people who don’t care about baseball ( commissioner included) to maybe watch a game between tick tock videos.
I’ll just put this here. Rome is annoying but at least he’s asking the right questions.
