[Grange] As for playing style, he’s been known to be an adherent of ‘conceptual offence’ where players are empowered to make decisions on an almost equal basis, depending on what the moment calls for, rather than according to a more bench-driven approach.

  1. Are people acting like this is a good thing with the way our roster is set up? There’s a reason we only run offense through a few guys lol no coach with sense will run equal opportunity quick paced offense with guys like Boucher Banton and Achiuwa who rarely make good decisions even with time and space

  2. So GTJ could conceivably opt to call his own number every time he gets the ball. That sounds different.

  3. Last season we limited passing to limit TOVs while trying to generate a ton of TOVs on the other end, basically aiming to increase disparity as a component to win the possessions battle. I’m quite certain if you look at TOV disparity we are miles miles ahead of 2nd place. Darko is pro passing and super forgiving when it comes to TOVs. He talked about in a pod that most of the top teams and contenders often lead the league in TOVs. His seasons with suns and grizz teams were leaders in assists. Last 2 seasons we were near bottom.

Thinking the offense wont look different with Darko is silly.
