  1. any news on delayed start today? Deciding if we need to get there on time or later. Didn’t see anything from Katie woo.

  2. Can’t go to game today because of weather. Anybody want cheap tickets? Section 446, 9 and 10. 9 tickets available

  3. Accidentally bought tickets in the same section but different rows for my wife and I for today’s game. Any idea if I can combine these or how to know if there’s tickets together in the section not being used so we can sit together?

  4. According to the ESPN bottom line, Steve Cohen doesn’t see the Mets as sellers this year. Too bad, I was hoping we could acquire some big strong guys from them

  5. Let’s do this Waino get to 198. If anything comes from this season I want him to get to 200

  6. [Reds](/r/Reds) Due Up **(Top 1):**

    1. TJ Friedl
    2. Matt McLain
    3. Jonathan India

  7. not saying it’s going to happen today, but i can’t even remember how many games i’ve gone to where i’ve payed for parking, went inside, bought food and beer, and then the games either cancelled/ delayed significantly with no announcements from the team except for right before. I’m sure it’s a league wide thing but sometimes they’re downright awful about communicating rain delays before games starts. Almost like they don’t want to hurt concessions

  8. One year ago my family and I went to our first Cardinals game in Busch Stadium. My mom hasn’t seen a Cardinals game live since the 1982 WS winner with my dad.

I couldn’t wait to see Asian-American player Tommy Edman play because there wasn’t a lot of AAs to idolize growing up, so it’s nice to see today’s representation.

The Reds were beating the Cardinals 4-3. Cards were down to their last out. We saw other people leave to beat the traffic. We were about to leave because we didn’t want to leave our dogs alone for much longer.

As we were leaving, we looked up to see Tommy Edman at bat. In a blink, we heard the crack of the bat, that initial cheer of a hit, and then the roar of a winner. Fireworks exploded and people were jumping up and down. One guy started doing push ups. My family and I were all hugs and smiled.

Even though it was just a regular season game, it was one of the best. Some people might dislike it but it really felt like baseball heaven given the people, the atmosphere, and the team. I’m happy to be a Cardinals fan, win or lose. But let’s win anyway.
