I love Doyle honestly so far, he’s athletic and good in the field. Made a couple bonehead plays but get him more experience and he’ll improve on both sides. Wynns has been disappointing even for a back up catcher stand point and Montero hasn’t shown he can play defense or work walks in his time in the bigs. Not to mention with all the injuries with our pitching staff that’s a whole different mess that needs cleaned up…
Not for nothing, I’ve seen most of these kids come through Hartford in AA, and you’re getting the best players that we’ve seen come through here. Tovar RAKED last year, Brenton Doyle was super fun and his in laws were very nice when we sat near them, Coco was kind of a fan favorite in Hartford, I saw some AWESOME Elehuris games last year, and Ryan McMahon was CLEARLY on a fast track to the bigs way back when he was here.
Wish I had any hope for your pitching future, though.
