I know it’s easy to reject and despise this sort of report because, well, it’s the Lakers, but it makes a lot of sense for both teams to have conversations.
Nothing we want on their team, even for those picks. Hard pass.
I’d do 26+29+55 for #17 in a heartbeat. Maybe even swapping #32 out for #55. We need to consolidate our picks and I don’t know if we can move up farther than that without including a player.
“Trade 26, 29, and 32 for 17 and we would use the 17th pick”…but if the goal is to try and pick before 7, then the 7, 17th, and maybe a player or any futures looks a lot better then the later picks we currently have. That’s if there’s ANY truth to Pacers wanting to get Miller.
Only thing I hate about this report (other than helping the Lakers), is so many owners have interest or people related with interest in the Lakers the trades are always horribly uneven
We have a bit of leverage here against the Lakers.. The Lakers need to match Reaves’ contract, Hachimura’s and they need players on cheap contracts. So it makes sense for them to get 26 29 32
