  1. I’m so sick of this goddamn team. They absolutely make me want to vomit. I’m not even ten goddamn games into this season and i want to scream. They are that terrible. It’s like the movie groundhog day but instead i’m reliving the shittiest games of baseball over and over and over again every fucking day of my life. Every damn day I have watched this pathetic mess of a team, rain or sun or snow since I was 7 years old. I have a tab open during work w/ the gamecast during the day games that I can’t go. I’ve skipped school and work and broken up with women for the Pirates. I’ve missed funerals and weddings because i loved this team more. And what do I get to show for it? A FUCKING BRAIN ANEURYSM. A team that has had 3 winning seasons over the past 20 something who manages to play like ass in the playoffs on the rare occasion they make it because they are so used to being shit and don’t have a winning culture. A team that game in and game out somehow manages to have less goddamn hits than Chumbawamba. A team that gets swept. By the Cincinnati Reds. “Oh but look at our young talent- Cole and Taillon and Bell and whoever else that sucks dick!!” I’m sick of hearing “we could be a contender like we were 3 years ago if Cutch doesn’t play like shit and the LF can stop jerking off for 2 seconds to swing the fucking bat” ITS NOT HAPPENING. WE ARE NOT AND NEVER WERE A GOOD TEAM. WE ARE PATHETIC. MIGHT AS WELL FADE US NOW BECAUSE WE’RE ALREADY A BUNCH OF FUCKING LOSERS. If Clemente didn’t die in that plane crash, I’m convinced he would have killed himself after being forced to wear our godforsaken excuse of uniform for 18 years of his life. I’m done with this fucking team.

  2. Was at the game. Had a kid no older than like 12 say “My how the tables have turned” to me during the big inning where Contreras blew it.

Never in my life have I been so offended by something I completely agreed with.

  3. Goodnight to everyone but Derek Shelton and the stingray that killed Steve Irwin ( which was also Shelon’s fault 🤣)

  4. Um, Derek Shelton is a….brilliant man with lots of well thought out, practical ideas. He is ensuring the competitiveness of this organization for years to come. Oh yes, and his personal hygiene is above reproach.

  5. Why can’t we ever just lose. Why does it have to be a collapse like half the time.

  6. That performance tonight by itself would have gotten Shelton shitcanned in three or four major league cities I can think of off the top of my head.

In Pittsburgh he’ll get a pass because everyone’s just happy to be here, the Buccos aren’t as godawful as they were last year, or the year before, or the year before …

  7. I’m really having a hard time to cope with this one. With Stroman pitching tmr the brewers series will probably be the season just brutal man

  8. Everyone piling on Shelton and it is well deserved but shouldn’t we also be questioning the pitching coach? How can some of these guys be so bad. All the pitching coach has to be responsible for is the pitchers and honestly he is failing at his job.

  9. This loss hurts bad. Up 5-1 at one point I believe and get demolished after.

One main takeaway I have is I hope Roasny gets sent down at this point. I love him and want him to succeed but he’s just lost.

It happens and he’s far from the first player to experience failure like this, but he’s gotta get sent down for a while and reset.

  10. At what point does Contreras need to go back down? I’m tired of seeing this dude get shellacked every time he takes the mound

  11. Look this game sucked and Contreras probably needs to go to Indy and get his shit right, but Christ almighty, these guys lost 100 games last year and they’re in first place in mid-June without Oneil Cruz.

Obviously they’ve not played as we’d like since April. But if any of you who are venting your spleen after every loss would’ve been asked on March 15 how you’d feel if the Pirates were leading the Central with the Cards in the cellar on June 15 you wouldn’t have stopped crying tears of joy before Opening Day.

They’re probably not going to win the World Series this year. Just calm down and enjoy the much better than we thought team/season.
