  1. Honestly caught me off guard how well and quickly he fixed up the hole in his swing. If he keeps up this level of play he will soon be in AAA and might honestly be back on track to being our starting 3B next season.

    Several of our hitting prospects have turned it around after some rather historical slow starts which is encouraging.

  2. My worry is that he is following Josh Phelps’s career path. At 23, Phelps hit .292/.407/.562 at class AA Tennessee. Orelvis’s strikeouts are concerning.

    But Orelvis is two years younger and has better power numbers than any Jays prospect ever, at least that I can think of. Can he actually play third base or shortstop?
