You guys never learn lol not only is attaining Lopez practically impossible but he’s 36 and then when he falls off a cliff you guys will act surprised
even with that we need an elite guard .

Miami **cannot** sign non-minimum contract free agents. They are over the tax-line with Herro’s extension kicking in, and will not even have the MLE to use on a FA.
How many times does this have to be said? Should we pin it at the top of this sub?
Can’t get him (Lopez)- we have no cap space to sign a FA. Only chance to add a key piece to the roster is through trade. I kind of like the idea of going all in for Porzingis and Beal in a trade with the Wiz. Obviously we’d have the hold out hope for good health for both players, but this move give us the boosts of both size and scoring that we needed to beat Denver.

This is the right way we need a big Brook Lopez would be a better fit and better for spacing. Dame and Beal are pipe dreams but maybe we can straight up sign Brook Lopez and pay the taxes and keep the other pieces.

Porzingis is the answer. Porzingis is the modern Brook—shoots 3s, shot blocker roaming on defense, meh rebounder. Adds more offensively, makes any PNR incredibly difficult.
Don’t need to call him or Bam the center, it doesn’t matter. Bam guards the strongest big on the court, Porzingis roams.
Lopez is a joke in the Miami Front Office… he’s been offered almost every season for a decade and the F.O. can’t say no fast enough.

Y’all fucking acting like a 36 year old is the answer. Last season was a fluke health wise coming off of back surgery. The Bucks are screwed either way. Let’s not get another Zeller
This “size” thing is so tiresome. Heat and GSW make deep playoff runs using primarily small ball. Yes Looney plays for GSW but lets not act like they’re not mostly running Green at the 5. Going small gives way more advantages than big. The most common play in basketball, the Pick and Roll is neutralized by going small with switchable bigs like Bam and Green and you guys wanna ruin that by throwing an old, slow, drop big that got abused by OUR shooters getting hand offs from bam and bombing 3s while he had to sag in the paint. We faced prob the only team in the finals that could punish that switch with Jokic and Murray, no other team has a tandem like that. Just get a Meyers Leonard or any big 7 footer to come off the bench for the minimum and play to our roster’s strengths which has yielded good results. We upgrade from a Vincent Strus backcourt + perhaps a smaller move later for a power forward and we’re cooking.
