Jerry West: “Steph. He’s just a fantastic person. Omg. What a great guy. He’s a better all-around player than he gets credit for. He’s really good. At one time, I didn’t think he was a good defender. I think he’s a terrific defender. I would damn sure like to play with him. He would pass the ball.”

  1. When the logo said Steph is one of the greatest, you listen. Steph is all-around because all top 10 players are.

  2. Some of the highest praise you can receive. Shoutout to Jerry West, he’s one of my favorite players.

  3. Slightly off topic, but Paul George might have the best basketball podcast out there right now – always an incredible listen

  4. Ngl I read it as “Jerry West: “Steph. He’s just a fantastic person. Ong”.. at first.. lmao.

  5. when talking ball I often use the current version of Steph as a example of how a superstar should play defense: He gets in there and effects the play, he doesn’t just let people blow by him. But at the same time he understands his value is commanding the team for the whole game and he can’t sit with foul trouble so he isn’t out there gambling or looking for contact.
