Before you get excited and think this is someone who will be like Cohen and make the Tampa Bay Rays a super team….
It’s a Nashville based guy. If he buys the rays they move to Nashville.
Do I wish the rays would spend more money on the team like Cohen? Of course! However, we are doing really well this season and been competitive for a while in one of the best divisions in baseball. I love that the Rays are as good as they are because of their farm system and scouting. Been a Rays fan for a long time and it was definitely an acquired taste to see them never spend a dime but I really hope Sternberg doesn’t sell the team.
Ugh, as much as I’d love for Stu to sell, this guy would 100% relocate to Nashville.
The guy needs to f*** off and just apply for an expansion if he wants a team based In Nashville
