Alvarado has been nothing short of an amazing story. He always had overpowering stuff but he just couldn’t consistently throw it for strikes when needed. Got sent down last year and comes back after some tweaks and is just lights out now. It’s unreal. Good on him and good on our coaching. Hoping so much they can do the exact same thing with Soto. He’s in a similar situation as Alvarado when he got here.
Truth. But also much love to the coaching who helped him work through it. Great work on all accounts.

I appreciate that he’s been the first one out the gate in the two bench clearing incidents this season. I find the pitchers running out from the bullpen absolutely hilarious, but there’s Alvarado leading the charge each time, ready to throw down
