Tl;dr at bottom!

* The DSL (Dominican Summer League) White Sox beat the DSL Arizona Black Diamondbacks 11-5
* The ACL White Sox scorch the ACL Rangers 17-6
* Cannonballers (33-29) fall to the Down East Wood Ducks (36-23, Ranger) 16-6. It was 7-1 Ducks after two, and the ballers pushed it to 5-7 at the closest, before the pitching imploded again.
* The Dash (33-26) lose to the Asheville Tourists (26-32, Astros) 4-2, after giving up two solo homers in the top of the 9th.
* Birmingham Barons (20-41 –> 21-41) played a double header against the Tennessee Smokies today (34-27 –> 34-28, Cubs). The Smokies won the first game 2-1, while the Barons held on to a barn-burner in game two, 11-10. The barons were winning game two 6-0 at one point, and gave up the lead top 6, before retaking it bottom 6
* Charlotte Knights (32-36) trounce the Durham Bulls (Rays, 38-30) 10-4.

**Notable Lines from the Night**

* Juan Uribe (DSL Sox) – 0-3, 2 walks, 1 strikeout. 17 year old son of Juab Uribe is now 5-22 in his young minors career, sporting a .684 OPS atm.
* Enoy Jimenez (ACL Sox) – 0-2, 3 walks. In a game in which the ACL Sox gathered 17 hits, Eloy’s brother Enoy was the only starter that couldn’t muster one. He now has a .200 OPS after 16 ab’s, and remains hitless so far.
* Mario Camilletti (A) – 3-5, 2 rbis, 3 singles
* Tim Elko (A) – 2-5, 1 rbi, 1 HR, single, 2 strikeouts. Raises his OPS to .913, highest on team again
* Wilfred Veras (A+) – 1-4, 2 rbis, 2 run HR, 1 strikeout
* Jonah Scolaro (AA) – Game 1 – 2 innings, no hits, 1 walk, 5 strikeouts. Since being promoted to the Barons on May 18th, he’s pitching to a 1.13 ERA after 8 games (16 innings). He has a 1.06 whip, and has only given up 2 ER’s, and zero homers.
* Bryan Ramos (AA) – Game 1 – 1-3, single, 1 strikeout. He did not play game two.
* Jose Rodriguez (AA) – Game 1 – 1-3, double
* Jose Rodriguez (AA) – Game 2 – 3-4, 4 rbis, 1 strikeout, 1 solo HR, 1 3-run HR, 1 single. In the last 28 days, Popeye is batting .345/.361/.586 for an OPS of .947. A very hot hitter when he’s on, but very very cold when he’s off (Basically Luis Robert). Jose is only 22 though, and already has over 1500 Minors at bats, as he signed with the team at 17.
* Alsander Womack (AA) – Game two – 2-4, 2 rbis, 2 singles
* Yoelqui Céspedes (AA) – Game two – 1-3, 1 solo hr, 1 rbi, 1 strikeout
* Brooks Gosswein (AA) – Game two – Made his barons debut today, going 3 innings, 4 hits, 3 runs (all unearned), 0 walks, 1 strikeout. He enduced an inning ending double play in the top of the 3rd, but a throwing error allowed the inning to continue, and he gave up 2 singles after that for 3 runs to come across. He was promoted to the Barons on June 16th.
* Declan Cronin (AAA) – 1 inning, 1 walk, 1 strikeout. The 25 year old draft pick number 1070 (Yes, really) is now pitching to a 2.97 era after 30.1 innings, only giving up a single homerun. His average against is .243, and is sporting a 1.38 whip. Someone who I would rather see than Jimmy Lambert, but wont happen cause they’re not on the 40 man roster, even though Jimmy keeps getting hit hard by AAA batters.
* Adam Haseley (AAA) – 3-5, 2 singles, 1 2-run HR, 2 rbis, 2 strikeouts
* Oscar Colas (AAA) – 1-4, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, 1 single. His OPS has dipped below 800, to .783.
* Victor Reyes (AAA) – 2-5, 2 rbis, 2 strikeouts, 2 solo HR. The 28 year old switch hitting OF is now batting .315 with a .900 OPS.

**Notable Promotions/Demotions/Signings June 15th-Today**

* June 16th – [Brooks Gosswein](https://www.milb.com/player/brooks-gosswein-694747) promoted to AA
* June 16th – [Chase Solesky](https://www.milb.com/player/chase-solesky-686678) promoted to AAA. Keep an eye out for him, he was rocked hard in his first AAA start but was pitching to a 3.23 ERA after 39 innings, and 9 games started for the Barons, only giving up 2 homeruns.

Tl;dr – Rookie sox owned today, Cannonballers got obliterated, Barons barely hold on in a double-header to squeek out a win after almost blowing a 6-0 lead, Dash continue to skid. Good comeback win from the MLB team.
