Basically, Phoenix could take Bertans and McGee and stretch their contracts with McGee on his last year and Bertans with a team option next szn.
But he’s an 18/10 guy that could be had for essentially a bag of chips
They dont care about the 2nd apron. They will just roll out those 4 + min salary guys. They cant even lose picks, bc they have none
Imagine being a Wizards Fan. Compared to Washington, Mavs FO looks like geniuses.
But, I am looking forward to the traditional Suns choke job next year. 3 Max Iso Guys and some scrubs is not the way to win in this league.
The Suns really got a ~25ppg scorer for a washed 37 year old CP0 and a bum bench player. Wizards FO is horrendous. KCP gift to the Nuggets, Rui gifted to the Lakers, probably lose Kuz and idk what they’re doing with KP.
I’m a Nico guy and I hope/anticipate he’ll make a good move soon during the draft, but that KP trade we really should have got a little bit more from. Yes, it was right to move off him, hence the WCF appearance. But damn, we couldn’t have gotten Rui or Gafford in the trade? We literally picked up Bertans shit contract, threw a 2nd in there too? And I liked Dinwiddie but his efficiency splits were disgusting in Washington. KP averaged 20/9 for all his seasons with us. Hmmm.
Mavs have a lot of moves to make to compete in this helluva Western Conference.

Even if they do dump him, I think the mavs would be the last place they’d trade him just bc of the hatred from both sides lol
Ayton is NOT who we want. He doesn’t have have it, and y’all wanna pay this guy just to get disappointed in the postseason as he gets out rebounded by a rookie who hustles.
I would be willing to give up both THJ and Maxi for Ayton.
there was a report yesterday that Beal was only waiving his no trade clause if Ayton was still on the team.
I’d rather us try for that Capela thing with Hawks. I don’t want Ayton. If Monty couldn’t coach him, no fucking way Jason Kidd can do anything with him
Honestly I’d do something that swaps Bertans for just about any of their role players just to see PHX pile up more shit contracts.
