Guess Wizards decided that it was best to rebuild than be stuck in no-mans land much longer. The huge extension they gave Beal with no trade cause made it even more difficult to exchange him for good pieces. Although his contract is large, if he is healthy he is an offensive threat and will still be only 33 by the time it finally ends.
