  4. Suns after having no depth in the playoffs – let’s eliminate all our depth to get even more top heavy.

    I’d imagine they’ll need to offload Ayton now to shore up the rest of their roster

  13. As much as I’m confident in our group, this does have the potential to make them really scary. If they can unload Ayton for a couple playable pieces, they could have a solid rotation come playoff time.

    Plus, they now have Beal and his $50M+ no-trade anchor around their necks for 4 years that they won’t be able to unload and kill their cap.

  20. Will be a repeat of 2021 nets where a star (or 2) gets injured cuz of workload. Both the finals teams this year showed the blueprint that superteams dont win championships anymore in this age. The suns are dumbasses

  21. This doesn’t move their needle at all. There’s only one basketball, and this does nothing to address defense and depth. This arguably makes that worse.

    The best that can be said of this deal is that they didn’t have to give up a whole lot for it (sucks for the Wizards). But the new CBA will still rail them, and on the court no existing problems fixed.

  27. This shit is so funny, Beal is basically replacing Bridges but is 5 inches shorter, worse on defense & rebounding and where Bridges played 83 games in this 82 game season Beal hasn’t played more than 60 in 5 seasons. Oh and his contract is double Bridges
